my sympathies to the Grackles
wow, in all my years of playing fantasy football i don't know if i've seen too many examples like the poopstorm the Grackles are experiencing. first they lose David Johnson for the season, and on top of that they are getting a points-against pasting that seems nearly statistically impossible. 287 points against after just two games?! they are the #2 scoring team for the season (a mere 6.5 points from #1) and are 0-2. it's a damn good team.
i'm glad we aren't doing Victory Points in our league, but this is an example of why we have it in a couple of other leagues. VP's remove a little bit of intensity from week to week, but VP's also add a little bit of justice each week.
keep on keeping on, Grackles. hopefully things will average out and you'll get some good fortune for a change.

I was thinking the same thing....
Look at it this way. Your the best 0-2 team in the history of our league. And the Giants came back to win the Super Bowl after starting 0-2 in 2007 taking down the behemoth that was the undefeated New England Patriots in a stunning upset.. (cue the Rocky music) Grackles this is your moment to shine you need to run up those stairs look the competition in the eyes and will yourself to victory each and every week and shake all of those naysayers off like a Polaroid picture.
