It has begun.
Update. I didn't paint those mutha fuckin cornhole boards, because except for Kent (no offense) who said Steelers (which I can get behind) and some other shit, I got nothin.
So they'll most likely be white. But I'm a FA right now. If we're playing for a trophy, Text Me. (I want to win.)
I STILL plan on making KC Ribs. I've done it three times on the oven so that's what I'll do then. Friday morning thru the afternoon-ish evening, the down stairs oven is mine. If it's broken or nonexistent, the Middle floor is mine. You'll thank me. The ribs have been delicious every time. Ask anyone who had them.

i've been wracking my brain for a couple of weeks, trying to come up with some awesome idea for the cornhole set. it would be sweet to see a nice paint job all lacquered up and shiny. but so far i haven't been struck by anything totally awesome and inspiring and universal and relevant and timeless.
i get the feeling that this is going to be an epic weekend for food. which is fan-fucking-tastic. i'm still waffling about what i'm going to bring. i may do venison burgers, but lately i'm leaning towards something involving the literal half a pig that i just put in my freezer. i may do a North Carolina style BBQ pulled pork the day before in my smoker and then bring it with me. it'll be a KC BBQ vs NC BBQ showdown, and we'll all win. it's still up in the air, though...
how was Denver? did you get high as a kite? did you bring back any edibles to share with the class? |

I didn't bring anything back because I got wigged out in the end. Too much to lose if the worst happened. But it's all there! Red Rocks Ampitheatre was insane!
School starts next week basically, so not sure the boards will get a facelift this year, but they need some love. I'm stoked to see everyone! |
