| Since this week has massive play-off impact, should we grant the Commissioner the power to replace Mao's bye week players with valid ones should he fail to do so before kick-off? I know that is opening the door to a dangerous precident but I think it would be warranted given the situation. I doubt Billy wants to make the play-offs on a bogus win. Just asking. |

I was more hitting it on the front end, hoping Mao would edit his line up. Easier to make waves before the fact. I won't cry foul if he doesn't. If it plays out that I win and Billy WOULD HAVE LOST if Sanders and Freeman were in, and it wouldn't even come down to points...I'll feel sick and be crushed. I've been in this league for 19 seasons and I've spent a lot of emotional time and energy on it. We all have. I'm not a team that gets a shot in top six as much as some, so when it comes along, it's nice to see it happen (or not happen!) with integrity and legitimacy. Not like in ESPN leagues. We aren't built that way. I appreciate the gesture Kent, but we shouldn't need Commissioner access. Dat may be stringing me along to the last minute because I asked him midweek to not play byes. Besides, there have been multiple games this season with outcomes based on incomplete rosters. This scenario, however crucial, only exists because of some of those very games. Can't start usurping teams now. It's just a shame it happened at all.
I hope you're fuckin with me, Dat. I haven't lost sleep, but the scenario is crucial for lineups to be filled. Right? Like every week? Best of luck! Shit. Kent may kick my ass anyway and this all goes away!

Keith and I have been matched up in 2 other leagues.
In 6 Midgard seasons, The DC Defenestrators were 5-5 against the Barneveld Raving Hermits in the regular season. However, The Hermits were 2-0 against the Defenestrators in the post season, with 1 losers' bracket win and a win in the 2003 Championship game.
In 2 Aces High seasons, The DC Mayhem were 2-2 against the Sticksville Illuminati in the regular season. The Mayhem won the only post season meeting, a losers' bracket match up.
Since neither of those leagues are named Ragnarok, none of that really matters. |

There's a League Realignment section at the bottom of the rules page.
The team with the worst combined record over the past 4 years in each division is a captain. The captain with the worst overall record among captains get first choice of draft position. The draft is 2 rounds and is done serpentine style. |
