Auction is 1/3 finished - restart Sunday 8 pm?

After a tardy start and some learning curves, we did begin to get a quicker pace to the auction. The meatier rounds have been finished, the rounds with the most counter-bidding. The mid rounds should see less counter-bidding, and the later rounds even less, so the tempo will get faster and faster.
Nonetheless, it seems as though an entire live auction will end up taking too much of everyone's time. It is proposed that we do another live session, but only a few hours at most, and then conclude the auction with the use of auction worksheets in the following evening. That will give everyone one full day to get their worksheet ready, and the worksheet won't have to be very large, and we will be able to get our rosters set by Tuesday at the latest.
Can everyone either particpate live this evening, say 8 pm, or make sure to have their worksheet ready for the restart? We could do 2-3 hours of live auctioning (at a faster pace than the opening rounds of last night), and then have a day to tweak worksheets.
Thanks to everyone for their patience and love of football.
** It should be noticed that everyone's bankrolls are already very close to the 1 Copper Piece per player state, and after a couple of hours of the mid-round bidding, it will be even closer. That will make the final worksheet stage very easy to strategize for - you won't have as many positions to worry about, and most/all of your bids will be around 1 CP anyways; it should be a snap to prepare for. ** |

i will implement a bidding cap for live participants, taking into account 1 CP per open slot (this is already in place for worksheet usage).
i will also put a block on bids when a player is SOLD, which should help out with that dual-bid problems we had at the end of the night. |
