go Green. these states need a small amount of signatures in order to put the Green Party on their ballots:
MN: deadline Aug 23rd, need 2,000 signatures, contact Cam Gordon, cam@camgordon.org, 612-296-0579

For those not yet part of it, Welcome to the Third or Forth Party movement. Voting for something or for someone is so much better than voting against. As Gary Johnson said, "Voting for the lesser of two evils, is still evil!"
I will sign the petition to get the Green Party on the MN ballot, and I do agree with many of the policies of the party but I have started volunteering for the Libertarian Party.
The two party system has left me disenfranchised about the political discord. I still believe in the Ideals of this country, its liberties, and principals. However, the Citizens United corruption that both parties support by their actions has washed out the ability for common voice to be heard, drown out by the megaphone paid for by special interest.
I had a longer rant but I erased it because I want to be carful not to turn my favorite FF site into a political forum. |

| Gentlemen, congratulations we are one step closer towards democracy, Today Jill Stein and the Green Party gathered enough signatures to appear on the MN ballot. With a twist.....It seems that when the petition started last month, she had not yet announced her running mate. So the leaders of the party in MN, placed a name on the petition that was not her yet to be announced running mate Ajamu Baraka. So the Green Party officials will have to appear in front of a judge to see if the petition we signed can be altered or if her VP will be different in MN. |
