sorry for the nfl schedule issues. i have to manually enter them and i didn't do enough games ahead of time. i really should update that page to be more bullet-proof so that i can put it in the Community area.
on another note, while i would rather have squeaky wheels than not, it does get a little disheartening at times. it takes a ton of work to build and run a football site like this. it is also worth noting that in 2014 the website is performing better than it ever has, BY FAR. the stats are pretty damn awesome compared to years past: they are more complete, in 7 weeks of processing there hasn't been a single crash (we used to crash hourly), the accuracy is over 99%, and the updates take place every 60 seconds (used to be 5 minutes). in addition, the fantasy finances have been fixed in a big way, even being able to retro-adjust if an old W-L-T result gets changed due to a stat correction.
i still have to fix the waiving logic of free agency (but at least we have a workaround with the failsafe popup forcing owners to waive players) and that's on my short list. and there are a few rare scoring events which could use some attention (2 pt. conversions, 2+ DF TD's which are in the same category). but it's becoming a very short list. i'm actually really pleased with how far things have come.
i just wanted to put this comment out there. it's not a big deal and it doesn't really warrant any response, good or bad. i love all you guys. except Scott. Scott, you can eat a bag of dicks this week. |
