2014 Rules Upgrades

we are DEFINITELY going to add TE to the Flex option in 2014. that is going to result in a glorious powder keg of stragety being thrown into Aurora.
does anyone have an opinion about having 3 divisions vs 4 divisions? personally, i like having 4 divisions because it is symmetrical.
if anyone has any other suggestions or wishes, please feel free to post them to the forum. i promise to only ridicule your *dumb* ideas.

1. Change pass TDs to 6 pts.
2. Reduce rosters to 17 players
3. Kickers should get 3 pts for the shortest of FGs and up-tick for longer FGs.
4. Negative Defense pts should be given when the Defense allows a ton of pts with max of -10.
5. VP points - should decrease the value of the 50% win VP, maybe a half VP for those.
6. 4 Divisions
7. No Kickers, coaches, or defenses in first three days of draft.
8. Some penalty for not nominating players during draft for the first week.
I think much of this would apply to Midgard as well. |

4. Negative Defense points: would you be able to provide a rough chart?
5. VP points: so if you get a Win you get one VP and if you are in top 50% of scorers you get 1/2 VP?

5. That is one way to do it yes. Either that way or Win = 2VP and top 50%=1, same thing really, just a matter of how you like the numbers to look.
4. Could go something like (might be able to pull an example from yahoo scoring as well, but I'm just making this up)
0 = 10pts.
1-6 = 7pts.
7-10 = 4pts.
11-14 = 1pt.
15-17 = 0pts.
18-24 = -2pts.
25-31 = -4pts.
32-38 = -7pts
39+ = -10pts |
