| That rule was for franchise guys who go on IR. Mathews may not miss any time. How did we handle this when Aarik had Vick go down for a few weeks a few years back? Wasnt there some sort of trade off, like Aarik couldn't draft Vick? Anyone remember or have thoughts on this? I don't mind Erik changing players, for the record, even if CJ1K had a big night tonight. I just want to make sure we're consistent when possible. |

| I felt that the spirit of the rule was to not ruin a teams season due to injury. The injury seemed to be that he may be ready on the opener, but then thats just starting to play. It would then be weeks to get back in game shape, and maybe never get cought back up. I posted it as early as possible so teams would be able to adjust. Thanks, E. |

| I have no problem with the Thunder switching FPs. We just need to clearly define the cutoff point in terms of injury severity. And then also change the name of the rule appropriately--perhaps it's now the Jason Witten Rule, if we're able to change FPs for injuries that may keep them out of the preseason... |
