If aren't at least going to put in a full starting lineup, maybe you shouldn't play. |

Doesn't make sense

Vikes were on a bye week. You didn't start a defense and your TE was also on a bye week.

Obvious mismanagement
I've never seen any serious fantasy player not play a full team...its just pathetic on your part. I vow to not play next year if you are still in the league. Its disgusts me to see anyone not do the bear minimum management of their team. Each week effects every other team. Your incompetence is not acceptable to me. And it is my business because it effects whether my team makes to the playoffs. |

Bottom Line

If you can't manage your team, don't play. |

for the record

i'd like to say that for many years i've been playing fantasy football in a couple of leagues with the owner of the Toys, and in all of that time i have never seen him not field a full starting roster. which is a pretty good track record, especially considering that he is the biggest homer i have ever met: he does not start any of his players if they are facing the Vikings that week. talk about a challenge!
if it were anyone who did not have an established and solid track record, i would share the sentiments of Anchorman and probably take moves in the offseason to reflect this. a successful fantasy league relies on the full participation of all teams for the entire season. it's too much of a game of inches for some teams to be handing out yards.
that being said, though, i don't think that this is indicative of the Toys overall management approach or history. that guy is one of the biggest football and biggest fantasy football fans i have ever met. he's definitely earned a mulligan in my book, and i don't say that lightly. |
