Ragnarok History is being imported

I've built the tools to allow the entry of old Ragnarok data from back in the day when we did it via pen and paper (1997-98) and the old F***star software in 1999 - 2001, and i have started to enter the information into our online history.
It's been really interesting to dig through the first couple of years of the league. For example, I was reminded of how after about a month into the inaugural 1997 season Will purchased his franchise from Rei for the mighty cost of a six pack of Budweiser, then turned it around and made it to the championship game. Speaking of which, it turns out that the Skullsplitters had won the first year and the Heiny Kickers did it the following year (we had it backwards in the website).
Anyways, I also set it up where for any given league (even modern ones) some comments and/or files can be added to its history. For example, I uploaded some old Excel files as well as the ballot used in a 1998 attempt to award a cash prize for Coach of the Year. Similarly, we can post images from draft parties, etc., and any league member can post to the league history for any season.
So go to the league homepage and then click on the 1997 and 1998 links in the lower left, and you can see some of the oldest history that has been added. Similarly, the draft boards have been entered for 1997 and 1998. I'll continue to add history into the online repository, with 1999-2001 to come, plus some choice draft party pictures for other relevant years.
Everyone is welcome to contribute to these history lists for any given season.... |
