That's right. We've got an all Jewish championship.
Put away your Christmas decorations, grab your Tallit and Tefilin and get ready for a matchup that would make the Macabees proud. There will be no cheeseburgers or pork sausages at the tailgate this weekend. It'll be all bagels and lox (no cream cheese because we're going fleishik), gefilte fish, foot long Hebrew Nationals and enough chopped liver to satisfy a hungry Minyan.
With games on Thursday night, Saturday night (after sundown of course) and all day Sunday it's nice to see that the NFL is Shomer Shabbat. No matter what happens, one team will be dancing in the street like it's Simchat Torah. The only question left is whether people will be doing the Hora in NC or in DC.
First it was money lending, then the media and Hollywood, and now Ragnarok - it really was inevitable. |

For those not as steeped in Jewish culture, believe me when I say Stu's post is fucking brilliant. Dude even uses the old-school 'T' ending for words like he was your Zayde (i.e. Grandfather). Between these posts, the Smashmouth Gazette, and Aarik's yearly non-sensical rant, some of the best writing I see is on this site. Then again, I don't read much.
