NEW: League Calendar

in order to foster more efficient scheduling of the auction, there is now a league calendar. go to the Midgard homepage and click "Calendar." you can then add comments on specific dates that are good or bad for you.
everyone should visit the Calendar and chime in with their availabilities over the next three weeks.
i think the biggest challenge may be the fact that David is finishing up the last of his national guard training and is out in the woods until the 24th. we should try to find two time slots between 8/25 and 9/3, if possible.

Auction Nominated Dates

ok doke, looking at everyone's calendars, i'd like to toss out two dates that seem to be a good fit for everyone. the only wrinkle here is that one of them is on the sunday of labor day weekend - i don't know if anyone is doing the traditional holiday traveling thing or not.
that being said, here are two possible auction dates:
Tuesday August 26, 8pm eastern
Sunday August 31, 10am eastern
how does that work for everyone? let's nail it down and then we are SET! woot!

with the improvements to the auction room this year (including the addition of a Pass option for teams and an auto-acceleration of the "Going 1/2/3" if no other teams are able to make a legal bid), it should go much faster than in years past.
even so, we should budget two different sessions just in case. hopefully, both that Tuesday AND Sunday will work out for everyone? |
