    technically, it's wide open after the draft
    you can have your roster be composed of anything you wish, even if it means that you can't start a position for a particular week. so in a pinch, someone can forego a head coach if they want to risk losing a tiebreaker. speaking for myself, i try to min/max as much as i can - even head coaches. i actually won a game in Ragnarok this year because i picked up a head coach in free agency one sunday morning.
