I guess I don't quite understand this -- maybe you could say more? I don't do a huge amount of FA stuff (well, this year I did due to injuries), but I've won regular season games due to a successful FA acquisition, and I see that being a reflection of football knowledge and luck, but so is the rest of the games. I guess I don’t see the difference. I remember having my QB1 go down in the first round of our playoffs, and I almost lost my backup the same weekend. All of which is to say: I don't really care, since I'm the #12 seed and going to lose. LOL. |

Playoffs
The winners of each division, determined by the overall Victory Points within the division, get the first four seeds in the playoffs which take place in weeks 14-16 of the NFL's regular season.
Of the eight teams remaining, the two teams with the highest Victory Points make the playoffs. The worst six teams in the league do not play in the official playoffs (though see the paragraph below). In case of a tie for determining what teams will make the playoffs, the second level of tiebreaker is the W-L record. The third tie-breaker for this situation will be YTD points. The fourth tie-breaker will be the teams' head-to-head record. The fifth tie-breaker will be a vicious game of Rock-Paper-Scissors, best 21 out of 40. |

| Hi! I really have no preference. It always seemed as if, for all practical purposes, the dvisions didn't really mean much. Perhaps that's because I was never winning my division, so my impression was that other factors came into play to determine the remaining seeds. Anyway, I'll play however it is laid out. |

I'm not trying to be a pain in the neck, and I certainly don't expect anything to change, but I want to point something out: let's say, by some stroke of luck, next week I beat Show Me Them TDs despite my being a 13.5 pt underdog, and do so while scoring in the top half of the league. According to my record, I would be in first place in my division, but according to my VP I will remain in last place in the division and also likely not make the playoffs. To me, this seems sort of odd...
And now I will go back to fretting about the Panthers...
