Scandal shakes the Triple F league as the Mayor of Hairboro was caught getting a mullet by her page in what reporters are calling a serious make-over debacle at tax payers expense.
Distractions from the scandal are said to have lead to the Gardenias glorious smack down in week 10. Gardenias team owner had this to say, " You know I totally rocked a 5 inch feather back in the day. It was the kind of feathered hair Christy McNichol only dreamed of..... Everyone at the skating rink was jealous. " |

| I'm at a loss for words. After my team’s ridiculously pathetic week 9 football exhibition, I've lost all quick-witted, sarcastic and lewd banter capabilities. Damn those pigglettes and damn my suck-ass team this week. But for you, my fans, I'll try; filet of roast pork butt... suckling pig... hog farm-team... you'll have to come up with the rest. Gardenias Outlaw Player Ass Pat, Owner Excluded

Team owner announced today that all player-on-player ass pats are to stop immediately. “While it’s true we all like to celebrate players achievements, I feel we can lead the league in coming up with something less gay”, says Joneth.
While trying to refrain for slew of Tight End jokes, Antioch College Intern and feminist, Gloria Ironbox, had this to say; “I was asked to create a detailed spreadsheet outlining the gayness of position-to-position ass patting. What we found was that it was not so gay for a QB to ass pat a WR, but Kicker on Kicker ass pats were totally gay. Like the gayest.” Joneth’s plan allows for players to submit ass pat requests in writing prior to the event. Once approval is received from the ass patee, who must attend a 4 day seminar on sexual harassment in the workplace, the request is forwarded to Joneth’s desk for final say.
“I fear a slippery slope,” Joneth says as laughs permeate the press room, “I cannot sit by idly while unauthorized and possibly gay ass pats occur week after week.” She continues, “As I see it, as long as they are on my payroll, their asses are mine and therefore only I should reserve the right to slap ass as needed.
Ironbox added the need to apply this rule to cheerleaders and good looking female fans as well. |

Gardenias shock officials with league's first eco-friendly "work from home" policy
|

After turning down an offer to move the team to LA, Gardenias today release a plan that is being called nothing short of revolutionary.
The team announced that they will no longer require players to commute to the stadium, which can be turned back into landfill. "This is estimated to save thousands of dollars and polar bears", says owner Joneth. "It also gives us a huge competitive advantage by being able to start players from our injured reserve list", she went on to say.
When asked exactly how the team will play games from home and where the fans are supposed to go, Joneth, seemily caught off guard had "no comment". Star running back Marion Barber had this to say. "At first I was a little upset. I wanted the team to take the LA offer. They were willing to give us free ice cream on Fridays. But now, I'm kind of excited about spending Sunday afternoons in my bath robe. And frankly, letting myself go a little. Staying in shape is hard!"
