Waivers and Drops

I guess I am still learning how to use the Free Agency tool. I needed a TE this week to replace Gates during his bye week. I lined up two TEs (Boss and Miller) and used the same player to be dropped for both of them thinking that if my first choice went through, it would drop the other claim because i didn't have the dropped player anymore. Anyway, the system picked both TEs up and took my quid for both. What did i do wrong?
The next issue is my fault. When I looked at my lineup after the waivers were processed, it told me i had to drop a player. I accidentaly dropped Boss instead of Miller. Just had the wrong box checked. Is there anyway I can get this reversed without spending even more of my quid. If the waiver process would have worked like I thought, I would have only had Boss on my team to begin with and I would have +1 Quid. It was my fault for clicking the wrong box, so if I need to fix it during the next FA i will.
Btw, why has been so quiet around here lately? It's been 12 days since anyone has posted on the forum. |

| I have been commish many years in other leagues. It has always been my feeling that if two active owners make a trade, what right do I have to tell them they can't do it. I am sure both owners have their reasons for making the trade. While the trade looks lopsided to me and I would never agree to it, there are lopsided trades made in the NFL all the time. The fact that Brady went down after this trade is justice enough. What it comes down to for me is whether or not the two owners are working together to scam the rest of us. It doesn't appear that way to me. I think before you have a vote, you should let the two people involved in the trade state their case. Just my opinion. |

| Looks like I am going to have to be on the road next Wed. the 27th. Chances are I will not be home until late (after 11pm). I appologize for the late notice, but thought since we were able to move things for some other owners, maybe you could do the same for me. Thursday and Friday next week are great though. |

| Ok, this season is pretty much shot. It's time to start thinking about next season. I am looking for some good young talent at all the skill positions. Reggie Wayne is probably my best bargaining tool, but willing to discuss trading any of my players. |

Scoring Question

| Do offensive players get points for punt and kick return yards and TDs? It's not clear to me from looking at the scoring page. It looks like Defensive players get yardage and TD points for kick/punt returns. Unless the return that it is refering to is only for INT or fumble returns. Somebody please help me. |

Another newbie question

| Forgive me if this is spelled out in the rules and I just missed it. Let's say I only keep 3 players. So that would put my first pick in round 4. Then after the deadline I make a 2 for 1 trade. If I then only have 2 keepers, am I still locked into the 4th round or do I fall back to the 3rd round. Does the team that got the 2 players in the trade end up falling back a spot in the draft. I think I know the answer to this question, but just want to have all the facts before I make any trades. |
